Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Barking and Dagenham, RM10 | Pay: £94 - £105 per day | Contract: Temp to Perm | Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Barking and Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners and contribute to their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Support pupils individually and in small groups, ensuring all students receive the help they need.
- Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
- Prepare and organise classroom resources to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Ensure the safety of pupils during lessons, breaks, and activities.
- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff to support pupil progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
