The Opportunity

Long Term Futures is seeking a confident and resilient KS2 Teaching Assistant to support a child on a one-to-one basis in a primary school in Barking (IG11). The pupil finds school challenging and requires a patient, proactive, and experienced teaching assistant who can provide strong behaviour support and encourage engagement in learning.

This is a long-term role with the potential to go permanent, ideal for a dedicated professional looking to make a meaningful impact.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support for a KS2 pupil with behavioural needs
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive engagement
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning and emotional well-being
