We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work with students who have special educational needs and join a team of expereinced and welcoming educators at a lovely school based in Barking, London.
Destination Education are specifically looking forTeam Teach qualified candidates that have experience working within a primary SEN setting.
Note: This position is for ONE day per week (Fridays) and is every week.
About you, and the role of Team Teach TA:
Candidate MUST have the 'Team Teach' Certification
- Has expereince working with students withPMLD, SLD, ASD & MLD.
- Can maintain a positive approach to learning and development of students
- Has the right attirubutes and personatily to engage with students with SEN.
- Can collaborate with other staff to evaluate learning needs
- Can communicate prodctively with parents, carers and professionals.
- The ideal candidate will be able to establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the School.
