Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Team Leader to oversee and manage critical IT infrastructure within our Local Government Authority. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring secure, reliable IT systems and a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of 5+ IT professionals.
  • Manage and support IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, resolving complex technical issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of new IT projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Maintain IT security and performance, staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL, data protection regulations, and internal policies.

Essential Qualifications:
