A1Persinnel are currently recruiting for a Food Production Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Barking on a fixed term Maternity cover.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in ensuring all aspects of the factory operations are completed successfully.
  • Ensure correct payroll information is processed via the Group payroll team
  • Communicate with Finance and Payroll where required, to ensure any Payroll queries are followed up with in a timely manner.
  • Provide effective and engaging onboarding and inductions to new starters
  • Carry out the onboarding and offboarding processes
  • First point of contact for all employees regarding people admin. Includes payroll queries, HR queries, change of personal information, use of benefits
  • Daily point of contact for Agency employees and companies.
  • Control and manage stock of PPE (boots, fleeces, padlocks).
  • Follow up H&S actions raised by committee members and all staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in food industry
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, effective planner, attention to detail, multitask, meeting deadlines.
  • Assertive, proactive with good project management and administration skills.
  • Proficient operating MS Office (excel, outlook, word, power point)
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels (from operative level to senior management level).
Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am-5pm
  • Overtimes available
  • Flexibility required
