The RoleAs Assets and Compliance Lead, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our residential portfolio, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities include:
- Asset data management: Ensuring accurate data for decision-making and driving continuous improvement.
- Long-term strategy: Developing financially viable 5 and 30-year replacement strategies.
- Compliance: Leading regulatory regimes, ensuring all landlord responsibilities are met.
- Energy efficiency: Driving innovation to meet sustainability targets.
- Collaboration: Working closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure performance and value for money.
- Risk management: Identifying and managing compliance risks.
- Team leadership: Managing key staff to ensure accountability and high performance.
- Accurate, usable asset data to support decisions.
- Development of sustainable investment strategies.
- Compliance programmes ensuring regulatory adherence and safety.
- Effective budget management in collaboration with finance teams.
- A proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong knowledge of landlord statutory compliance requirements.
- A proven track record in contract procurement and management.
- Experience in risk management, financial control, and performance improvement.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to work with housing systems.
Desirable: Membership of a relevant body (e.g. IOSH, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, IFSM).
