Horizon Teachers are seeking for a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor for a secondary school based in the Barking area of East London. This role offers the opportunity to work across various subjects and year groups, making each day unique and rewarding.


Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that they stay on task and follow the lesson plan provided
  • Assist students with any questions they may have about the work and provide guidance where needed.
  • Maintain order and discipline in the classroom, following the school's behaviour policies.
  • Step into different classrooms and subjects as needed, quickly adjusting to varying classroom dynamics.
