Tradewind are currently looking to recruit a vibrant and inclusive primary school teacher who is committed to providing excellent education for all pupils. This position will be starting in November 2024 on a full-time role.

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the school's curriculum program.
  • Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to support student development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Utilise a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and foster a love of learning.
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law and school policy.
  • Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic performance and behaviour.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification for the relevant grade level.
  • Proven experience as a primary school teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of child development and primary education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
