Tradewind are currently looking to recruit a vibrant and inclusive primary school teacher who is committed to providing excellent education for all pupils. This position will be starting in November 2024 on a full-time role.
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the school's curriculum program.
- Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to support student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Utilise a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and foster a love of learning.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law and school policy.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic performance and behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification for the relevant grade level.
- Proven experience as a primary school teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of child development and primary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
