Year 2 Teacher - Primary School, Barking & Dagenham- September 2025Start Date: September 2025 |

We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 2 Teacher to join our welcoming, community-focused four-form entry primary school in Barkinig for the new academic year in September.

The Role:
  • Full-time Year 2 Class Teacher position
  • Fixed-term contract starting September 2025 until the end of the academic year
  • Deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons that support all learners
  • Work closely with a supportive senior leadership team and experienced teaching assistants
  • Foster a warm, positive classroom culture where every child feels confident and motivated
What We're Looking For:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and phonics (preferably experience with systematic synthetic phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc. or similar)
  • A reflective, proactive practitioner with excellent classroom management skills
  • A team player who builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
