About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Barking. This role is perfect for an agency worker looking to make a positive impact in a primary school setting. As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment.
- Work closely with school staff, including teaching assistants, to support student learning and development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and reporting as required.
- Be flexible and adaptable to different school environments and classroom dynamics.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work at short notice.
