The class:

The class is a gorgeous class in Year 2 with outstanding behaviour and attitude for learning. The class has only 21 pupils and benefits from the support of 2 full time teaching assistants. There are a high number of children with Special Needs in the class including 3 students with Autism. This class needs a nurturing and patient Primary teacher with creative lesson plans for SEN children and those with barriers to learning.

You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), after completing a PGCE, Graduate Teaching Program (GTP), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), QTLS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
  • Previous experience of teaching students with needs, including ASD / Autism, Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
