They'relooking for an M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London andhelp drive the success of their ongoing and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and control of costs throughout the project duration.
  • Lead the preparation of tenders, including cost estimates, bills of quantities, and pricing documents.
  • Assess subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts to secure the best value for the company.
  • Oversee the administration of M&E contracts, including the preparation of interim valuations, final accounts, and managing variations and claims.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements, providing regular updates to senior management and project teams.
  • Identify potential financial and contractual risks, developing mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Manage change control procedures, ensuring all variations are documented, priced, and agreed upon with clients and subcontractors.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify completed work, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all commercial matters, fostering strong working relationships and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices within the team.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, industry standards, and relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience working in a similar role
  • Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
