Here at Axiom Personnel, we are currently recruiting for a recycling operative for our client based in Barking.

Duties will include (but are not limited to);

  • monitor efficiencies and productivity, implement actions and improvements to ensure that targets are met.
  • Ensure that daily checks are completed
  • Complete and sign off level 1 maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out regular walkover inspections of the facility and equipment
  • Ensure fly management plan is followed.
  • Assist the night cleaning team by ensuring they have their daily tasks, and these tasks are completed and signed off prior to the end of shift
  • Report all safety or environmental issues to Management, and where appropriate, to internal support services staff.
  • ensuring reception pits are emptied daily
  • Ensure that the drying halls are cleaned and ready for the following days production
  • To carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks that the Company may require.

To be considered for this role you must Have the following:

  • Experience working on a production line
  • Basic ICT skills
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Established and skilled negotiator.
  • Demands high standards of themselves and others and can translate this into high quality, high pace output.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive teams with high morale and outstanding output.
  • Good communication skills with all levels of the business
  • A good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good organization skills and the ability to forward plan.

Full training is provided, but experience would be advantageous.

Hours will be 14:00-22:00 but you have to be available for training on the 6:00-14:00 shift.

This is an ongoing position and for the right candidate the role can become permanent.
