Job Overview:We are seeking an inspiring, innovative, and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our team in January. The successful candidate will bring a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and a commitment to nurturing a dynamic learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching that motivates students to achieve their best and equips them with valuable business knowledge and skills for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that meet the requirements of the national curriculum and school standards.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and academic development.
- Engage with students to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and inspire an enthusiasm for business topics.
- Collaborate with other department members to ensure cohesive and innovative curriculum delivery.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and enables students to feel confident and supported.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
- Degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level, ideally within the UK education system.
- A strong understanding of the UK Business Studies curriculum and current exam specifications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for the subject and commitment to inspiring young people in their learning journey.
