Are you a creative and passionate educator with the ability to inspire students in Art and Design? We are seeking a dedicated Art Supply Teacher to join our vibrant team at a secondary school in Barking and Dagenham. This temporary position runs from after Easter 2025 until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Art to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Deliver engaging lessons in Photography or Textiles, in addition to general Art.
- Inspire creativity and confidence in students, fostering a love for the arts.
- Support students in developing their technical and creative skills in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level.
- Specialism or proficiency in Photography or Textiles is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
