Teacher of Art Required for Secondary School in Barking and Dagenham

Are you an Art and Design Teacher with QTS who is seeking a full-time role to start in January 2025? This role working in an exciting school in Barking and Dagenham might be just right for you!

About the role

We are working with the school to recruit a permanent Art Teacher teaching both KS3 and KS4 Art and Design, with the possibility for KS5.

The school is focused on providing the highest quality of education for a cohort of East London children, many of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school has a real focus on work life balance by ensuring emails are switched off on evenings and weekends as well as the school being closed by 5pm each day to ensure staff are not staying behind working late into the evening. The school looks for Teachers who have a genuine passion for teaching disadvantaged children within a mainstream setting.

About you
  • QTS with an Art specialism

  • Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school

  • Proven background of high pupil progress

  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
