Learning Support Assistant - SEND Education

We are looking for four Learning Support Assistants to help support children with Special Educational Needs. This nurturing school is based in Barking, and caters for children and young adults from 5 to 18 years old with varied needs, such as PMLD, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs.
Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support the pupils on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs while at school. Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Experience supporting young adults or children in education
- Experience or willingness to assist with personal care
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively
- A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
