We are urgently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant special educational needs school in Barking and Dagenham, starting ASAP. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on students with special educational needs, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. �?

About the Role:As an SEN TA, you will provide essential support to students with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and autism. You will work closely with teaching staff to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment where every child can thrive. �?

Key Responsibilities:?? Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in their daily learning and activities.?? Assist the classroom teacher in adapting resources and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.?? Foster independence and confidence in students, helping them reach their full potential.?? Provide personal care and mobility assistance when needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all students.?? Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor student progress and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

What We’re Looking For:?? Previous experience as an SEN TA, ideally in a complex needs setting.?? Excellent communication skills with the ability to form positive relationships with students, staff, and families.?? Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.??
