Empowering Learning is hiring a passionate and dedicated SEN Key Stage 3 Teacher to join a supportive school based in Barking, East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher with experience in SEN or SEMH settings to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Key Stage 3 Teacher who is confident in delivering engaging and creative lessons to pupils with special educational needs. You will work with students aged 11-13, adapting your teaching to meet their unique learning requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SEMH or SEN settings and the ability to manage challenging behavior in a calm and nurturing manner. You will also work closely with support staff, parents, and senior leadership to ensure every pupil is set up for success.

This is a full-time role that requires someone who can start immediately. Ideally, you will have a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

What We're Looking For:
  • QTS or PGCE (essential)
  • Experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Strong behavior management skills
