Supply Primary Teacher - KS1 & KS2 - Barking and DagenhamPay: £140 - £160 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Are you a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher looking to make an impact in KS1 and KS2 classrooms? We are seeking passionate Supply Teachers to join our team in Barking and Dagenham, providing high-quality teaching and supporting the development of young learners.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:-
Teaching and Learning:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS1 and KS2 classes based on pre-planned learning activities or your own lesson plans where required.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students, ensuring all learners can thrive.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing feedback to pupils and senior staff.
- Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support attainment and progress.

Classroom Management:
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies, fostering positive relationships with pupils.
- Arrange and utilise resources to enhance learning experiences.

Student Support:
- Promote the social and emotional well-being of students, addressing individual needs.
- Work with students with special educational needs (SEN) or those for whom English is not their first language (EAL).
- Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and support personalised learning approaches.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with permanent staff, including Teaching Assistants, to deliver the curriculum and ensure consistency for pupils.
- Liaise with parents/carers, sharing progress updates where appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with school leadership and follow safeguarding policies at all times.

Professionalism and Adaptability:
- Cover lessons across KS1 and KS2 on a flexible basis, adapting quickly to new environments.
- Attend briefings and staff meetings as required to maintain a smooth handover.
- Undertake ongoing CPD to enhance your skills and knowledge in primary education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Competitive daily pay rates of £140-£160 per day (dependent on experience).
