Responsibilities:

Efficiently process and fulfil customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Pick products from designated locations, securely pack them, and prepare for dispatch.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and internal systems.Inspect products for defects, report issues, and ensure only high-quality items are dispatched.Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.Keep the warehouse organised and optimise space utilisation.Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.Foster collaboration within the team to achieve collective goals.Suggest process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects in a warehouse environment.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.Basic computer skills to work with warehouse management systems and inventory databases.Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.Flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced warehouse setting.Forklift certification is an advantage but can be acquired on the job for suitable candidates.
