The Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator will oversee and manage the permit-to-work system on a construction site. This role ensures that all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards and that work permits are effectively coordinated, issued, and monitored. The PTW Coordinator will collaborate with contractors, engineers, and safety teams to control work on high-risk tasks, safeguarding the safety and compliance of the work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Issue Permits: Oversee the permit-to-work system, ensuring accurate issuance, tracking, and closure of permits.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, ensuring all PTW requirements are understood and implemented by site personnel.
- Risk Assessment: Collaborate with safety and engineering teams to conduct risk assessments and method statements for high-risk activities.
- Site Inspections: Regularly inspect work areas to ensure compliance with permit requirements and company policies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all issued and closed permits, along with associated safety documents.
