HR Business Partner5 MonthsBarnard Castle (Remote Working Available)£600p/d Max via UmbrellaASAP StartWe are looking for a HR Business Partner with proven experience of leading large scale restructuring projects. This role will have the opportunity to lead on significant change projects working closely with the other aligned HR BPs, Business Leaders and Programme teams.As an HRBP you will be accountable for successful delivery and deployment of the change project(s) in Barnard Castle site.Key Responsibilities include:• Act as the HR lead for change projects (site changes, restructuring) and partner with Communications and the Business on developing the comms and engagement approach.• Identify/drive improvements in organisational efficiency & effectiveness, and challenge conventional business thinking.• Responsible for developing Restructuring change plans for site, together with appropriate risk management, engagement/retention plans, action tracking, look-aheads and reporting.• Collaborate closely with the SLT in defining and driving the activities that will deliver the organisational change.• Tracking progress against milestones and delivery for each phase of the change.• Delivering change plans to ensuring that all HR milestones are completed to schedule• Lead on HR materials required to communicate the change and partner with Comms and the Business on developing the comms and engagement approach.• Lead on the consultation process and ensuring transition and implementation of the new organisation.• Influence and coach leaders from Site Leadership Team members to first line leaders in production to embrace change and lead key people activities, using the business agenda and current challenges, to support HR initiatives.• Strategic Workforce planning – ensure proactive and future-oriented planning on size, structure, and capabilities of the organisation. Highlight future capability gaps and facilitate solutions, utilising HR expertise.• Navigate through complex matrix organisations and partner with key stakeholders (e.g. People Services, Recruitment, Compensation) in managing the implementation of HR activity related to the changes.• Influencing and coaching senior leaders in the delivery of key HR activities to develop leadership skills and people management capability.• Management complex business queries.• Work with HR Site Lead, to lead site wide project such as Industrial relations (IR) projects partnering with Union and employee representatives.• Support resolution of site IR issues and partner with ER Services to implement strategies to mitigate issues and/or enhance performance.• Support the SLT with ER/IR relationship management.• Understand the HR Risk environment, identify potential HR risks and escalate to appropriate parties to develop mitigation strategies.Basic qualifications:• You will have experience leading large scale UK change programmes in one or more blue chip multinational organisations where change is complex and fast-moving and be comfortable working with ambiguity in a matrix structure• Significant restructure experience• Enjoy working with highly engaged business leads, who genuinely value HR in managing change.• Excellent track record of translating business strategy into HR solutions• Experience of leading and influencing indirect HR teams• Highly accountable and outcome focused.• Experienced in Industrial/Employee relations.• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities• Significant supervisory and project management experience
