Workshop Welder Fabricator to join a well-established company based in Middleton in Teesdale, County Durham.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Location: Barnard Castle, Co Durham.

Salary: Competitive Salary Depending on Experience

About the Company

Established for over 40 years. The family business is spilt into three departments:

  • The Merchants – Selling various goods to farmers, builders and DIY enthusiasts.
  • Steel Fabrication – Manufacturing and installing a huge range of products from mild steel. Gates & Railings, tend to be their specialist area, but they do manufacture a range of bespoke products.
  • Contract Fencing – Supplying and installing all types of fencing.

About the Role

Due to the ongoing growth of the company, they have a vacancy for a full time Workshop Welder/Fabricator working within their steel fabrication department.

Job role would include, but not be limited to:

  • Fabrication of various products from mild steel.
  • Capability to deal with both ornate and structural fabrication
  • Site installations may be required
  • Ability to work with a range of workshop machines including drills, saws, plasmor cutter and welders.

The successful candidate may not possess all the required skills stated above. They must however, be able to give sound examples from within their current role of the necessary characteristics, demonstrating their potential for development.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Saturday 08:00 – 12:00 (where required)

Licence/Certification: UK drivers licence (preferred)
