The Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior Opportunity

I am seeking an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior to work across a diverse and growing client base, focusing on SMEs and owner-managed businesses (OMBs) with turnovers of up to £100 million. With rapid year-on-year growth (35% last year!) and a strong reputation in property, construction, and bridge loan finance, this firm is on an exciting trajectory.

You'll play a key role in delivering audit, accounts, and advisory services while gaining exposure to a range of industries. Supported by a friendly and flat-structured team of 15, including experienced managers and directors, you'll have the chance to grow and develop in a thriving environment.

What You'll Do
  • Work on audits for a wide range of clients, handling planning, execution, and completion stages.
  • Assist with the preparation of accounts and tax compliance work for SMEs and UK-based groups.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled team, including managers and associate directors, to deliver top-quality client service.
  • Contribute to advisory projects alongside experienced professionals.
  • Gain valuable experience across multiple disciplines, including accounts, tax, and audit.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 18 months of experience in audit and accounts, in a UK-based accountancy firm.
  • ACA or ACCA studiers looking to progress and supported with exam fees and study leave.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent client relationships.
  • A team player who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative environment.
  • Full-time office-based availability, with the potential to consider hybrid working in the future.
