Audit and Accounts Senior

• Roughly a 75/25 split between Audit and Accounts work.
• Assisting the Senior Managers with the planning of audits and completion of the detailed audit testing.
• Producing financial statements and drafting Corporation tax computations, which may include completing accounts from a trial balance provided by the clients or finalising accounts where the groundwork has been completed by other members of the team.
• Submitting approved Accounts and Corporation tax returns.
• Preparing and submitting Self Assessment tax returns.
• Delegating work to our outsourced team in India and reviewing their completed work.
• Management of some monthly bookkeeping and management account assignments with the objective of providing completed monthly management accounts to the Senior Managers for their review and meeting with the client.

• Software - They use CCH and Caseware Cloud, so experience of these is a plus but not a necessity. Many of their clients also use Xero and Sage so again any experience in this software would be advantageous.
• Qualification status: Must be qualified with ACCA or ICAEW
• No requirement for visa sponsorship
• Minimum of 4 years accountancy practice experience
• Must be experienced in audit and accounts
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Circa £40-55k per annum, negotiable on experience
• Discretionary bonus
• 30 days including bank holidays and 2 duvet days
• Private healthcare
• Pension, employees pay a minimum of 5% and the company will pay 3%
• Annual company trip, overnight stay in Europe, company will pay for flights, hotels, meals, etc
• 5 hours per week
• 3 month probation
• Hybrid position, and flexible working. Employees primarily working from home will be required to come to the office for client/team meetings and for team office days (currently twice a month). This role will also involve attending clients' premises as and when necessary.
