This multi-office firm of accountants in the London area is seeking a talented Semi Senior accountant in Barnet to join their thriving team. The Partners are excited to meet a foundation level accountant who is likely studying towards their ACCA/ACA qualification and are looking for a post in which they can continue to thrive and develop under the mentorship of an established and highly knowledgeable senior leadership team.
You'll have exceptional communication skills, be confident in your technical abilities and be ready to join a firm that takes professional development extremely serious and as such, collectively invest in ensuring that the whole team retains up to date knowledge of best practice and accounting legislation.
You'll have some experience in most areas of general accounting and taxation, a great work ethic and a positive and infectious energy.

Job Purpose
- Preparation of statutory and management accounts
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
- VAT
- Submission of financial documents
- Liaising with HMRC
- Bookkeeping
- Support the senior team to offer outstanding service levels to valued client portfolio
- Support and mentor junior colleagues
- Support the senior team with ad hoc projects as required

Job Requirements
- ACCA or ACA studying or plans to study to in the future. Study support can be given for the right candidate.
- Previous experience supporting clients within practice.
- Good basic knowledge across accountancy services.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
