We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, reporting directly to the CEO and CFO. This role requires expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance within the property and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-cycle bookkeeping, including managing the purchase and sales ledgers and daily bank reconciliations for multiple SPV companies.
  • Preparation and filing of VAT and CIS monthly returns.
  • Producing multi-company management accounts up to trial balance.
  • Regular reconciliation of inter-company accounts.
  • Providing clear and concise management information to the board.
  • Overseeing debt recovery processes.
  • Arranging and managing insurance cover for all group properties.
  • Reconciling completion statements.
  • Preparing financial statements and reports for partners.
  • Negotiating terms with group lenders.
  • Handling payroll and company secretarial duties.
Requirements
  • Essential:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in the property or construction industry.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience preparing accounts to trial balance.
    • Expertise in Xero accounting software.
    • Strong understanding of VAT, CIS, and financial reporting.
    • Experience in debt recovery, insurance arrangements, and lender negotiations.
    • Payroll and company secretarial experience.
Working Pattern
  • Office-based work: Monday to Thursday in the office and Fridays WFH
