About the Role:
As a Lead Practitioner, you will support the Team Manager in providing practice leadership and supervision while promoting the highest professional standards in social care. You will foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team, contributing to the overall wellbeing and quality of practice. Your role will include:
Supporting adults and carers to maintain their independence and well-being through access to high-quality information, advice, and local preventative services.
Providing high standard social work in line with the Care Act 2014 and Barnet's policies, ensuring the safeguarding of adults and carers at risk of harm.
Conducting professional assessments and care planning with a focus on achieving social care outcomes.
Offering professional supervision and mentoring to staff, supporting caseload management, and promoting continuous development and reflective practice.
Collaborating with partners and leading in agreed areas of work for both Social Care and the Integrated Care Board.
About You:
You will hold a relevant social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
You will be fully competent to Senior Social Worker level under the Social Worker National Competency Framework.
You will have a strong commitment to collaborative working, safeguarding, and promoting service user wellbeing.
You will be skilled in professional supervision, reflective practice, and supporting colleagues in their development.
