Our client is a well-respected children's hospice that provides specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people with complex medical needs. As a Senior Children's Nurse, you will:
- Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses and Band 3 + 4 Specialist Carers.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings.
- Plan and review care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy.
- Ensure fun, sensitivity, and compassion are integral to the care provided.
- Administer medications and maintain the nutritional status of all children.
- Participate in governance activities, including incident reporting and resource management.
- Offer training and development opportunities to staff and family members.
