Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours? LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school. This role is crucial in helping students overcome behavioural barriers and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Work 1:1 and in small groups with students displaying challenging behaviours, helping them develop positive strategies for learning.
Implement tailored behaviour interventions in line with individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create consistent approaches to behaviour management.
Provide daily behaviour and emotional support to ensure students can access the curriculum and feel safe in their learning environment.
Set clear, measurable behaviour targets for students and track progress over time.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role supporting children with SEN and behavioural difficulties.
Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and a patient, empathetic approach.
The ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
