About the School – Early Years Class Lead – Barnet, North West London

 

  • This nursery and preschool is located in Barnet, North West London. The nursery offers space for babies and children age 3 months to 5 years. Many children stay until they move to Reception. The nursery has been running for around 30 years and is lucky to have large premises with 3 buildings. The nursery strives to continually embed new initiatives and further develop professional development for all staff Children are in an outstanding early years education environment This is a teacher-led, reputable independent nursery which champions professional development, educational excellence, and fun Staff are offered a 10 week evidence based Wellbeing and Resilience programme The children at this nursery are happy, enthusiastic, and articulate. The nursey has frequent opportunities for CPD There are high staff to child ratios across thw whole nursry The nursery is located in a bright and airy purpose-built building with specialist extracurricular teaching staff.

 

 

 

 

About the Role – Early Years Class Lead – Barnet, North West London

 

  • You will need to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, term time only

The nursery is looking for an experienced teacher with at least 2 years in a similar role You should have a good understanding of EYFS. The teacher should have QTS or Level 5 qualification and above (or equivalent). You should be an outstanding, creative, energetic classroom practitioner with a sense of humour and high expectations of themselves and others. You should be an experienced EYFS Lead with a proven track record of writing and implementing action plans and reports, analysing data to inform teaching and learning, observing staff, and conducting observations. You should have a passion for the latest educational research and its impact on current practice. You will be required to help and support other teachers and practitioners to develop their own practice. Evidence of successfully using a range of management strategies to bring about change at a whole nursery level is important.
