£90 to £120 per day

An 'outstanding' Ofsted graded Secondary School in the Borough of Barnet is on the hunt for a long-term Secondary Cover Supervisor for an ASAP start. This is a full time position which will convert into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Your role of a Secondary Cover Supervisor shall consist of the following:

• Cover absent teachers across mainpy English KS3, KS4 or KS5
• You will be required to be flexible to cover other subjects where required.
• Support students who have difficulties with concentration and SEN
• Delivering pre-planned lesson
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Safeguard pupils effectively
• Liaise with senior staff /colleagues

Requirements:

• Degree level qualifications
• QTS is also preferred.
• Previous classroom /teaching experience is required
• Experience managing behaviour
• Understanding of leading and directing a class
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check (Online Updated) and 2 references on file
