Academics Ltd are working with a Primary school who are a recruiting a KS2 Teacher to join their team for January 2025. They are a a multi-cultural school with children from a variety of backgrounds, faiths and races. With a focus on Key Stage 2, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal development of students.

Key responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher:

  • Have the ability and experience of working as a KS2 teacher, with good knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Create an inviting and stimulating environment both within the classroom and outdoors, including the celebration of pupils' achievements.
  • Make effective use of a range of assessment monitoring and recording strategies to assess the learning needs of your students in order to set challenging learning objectives and plan for future teaching.
  • Promote positive relationships between members of the whole Academy community, including developing strong supportive relationships with parents and carers.
  • Maintain a secure knowledge and understanding of your phase(s) and related pedagogy to enable you to teach effectively at the Academy

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans
