Conveyancing Paralegal - The ideal Paralegal will have 2 years experience assisting with a caseload of Residential Conveyancing transactionsThe firm is based close to Barnet - exact location will be provided to interested candidatesSalary around £30,000 p.a. negotiable depending on experience levelFull-time, permanent We are seeking a talented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our client's dynamic team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting with Residential Conveyancing matters, ensuring the smooth progression of property transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of their renowned legal practice and contribute to the firms continued success.Conveyancing Paralegal Duties 
  • Support the conveyancing team in managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions
  • Engage with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors to facilitate the conveyancing process with professionalism and efficiency
  • Contribute to the overall success of the conveyancing caseload by providing exceptional administrative and paralegal support
  • Open and close files
  • Deal with AML requirements
  • Issue initial letters to clients 
  • Draft contracts and TR1
  • Complete SDLT applications
  • Prepare LR applications
  • Deal with correspondence post exchange and on completion
Preferred Requirements of Conveyancing Paralegal:
  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar conveyancing paralegal role within a legal environment
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures, including the ability to draft contracts and manage post-exchange matters
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with clients
  • Must live in Enfield North London, Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, Potters Bar, Barnet or close surrounding areas
  • Have fast and accurate typing skills, ideally 65-70 wpm – there is not Audio typing in this role
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word
  • Must be organised with an excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications of Conveyancing Paralegal:
  • Qualified by experience or qualifications such as a CILEX qualification or relevant paralegal certification or LLB, LLM or LPC Graduates who are looking to qualify will be considered
  • Understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing conveyancing transactions in the UK
