We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring apprentice to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ambitious and want to gain playworker qualification while getting experience. You'll create meaningful relationships with the children, your team and with parents.
Job descriptionEarly Years Educators work with and care for children from birth to 5 years. They play a massive role in supporting children to have the best start to their education. As an Early Years specialist, you will personally help to close the gap and increase the life chances of the children you work with.
The Role
Working alongside qualified Early Years Practitioners and professionals, you will work towards your own Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification. Your mission is to provide exceptional early years care in a safe, nurturing and fulfilling environment whilst inspiring children to unlock their full potential through key skills and values which will establish them as gifted citizens of the world.

- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Grade 4/C) Desired
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade Grade 4/C) Desired
The Training
You will be completing an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship. The expected duration of this course is 18 months.
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship
- NCFE Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (EYE)
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid OR Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- Apprentices will achieve an EYE qualification which has been approved to count towards the EYFS level 3 child: staff ratios
Career Progression

Nursery address: St Paul Church, Crescent E, Barnet EN4 0EN.
Pay: £7.50 per hour
Expected hours: Monday to Friday, 40 per week

Alphablocks Nursery School & Pre-Prep in Hadley Wood, London, provides outstanding early education to children aged two to five years old. We empower children to become confident learners in a safe and stimulating environment, tailoring the learning journey of each child to their individual strengths and interests.
