About the Role As the Payroll Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees across the organization. This role is vital in supporting the company's national operations and requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.

Payroll Administrator Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end monthly payroll for a large workforce
  • Manage payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Handle new starters, leavers, and statutory payments
  • Monitor employee data and timesheets
  • Generate and reconcile payroll reports
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Process payroll documentation (e.g., P45s, P60s)

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and UK regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with payroll and time & attendance systems
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
