Assistant Property Manager - Block Management

Location: Hendon (Hybrid - 2 days WFH, 3 days in office)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + discretionary bonus

We are currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Assistant Property Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced property management team. This role is heavily admin-focused and requires someone who is eager to take ownership, contribute ideas, and deliver high-quality service to leaseholders.

What you will do:

Provide administrative support to two property managers in day-to-day block management operations.

Liaise with leaseholders and contractors, handling queries and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

Assist in coordinating major works, maintenance, and compliance with health & safety regulations.

Prepare and distribute correspondence, notices, and service charge demands.

Manage Section 20 consultation notices and liaise with credit control on arrears.

Process contractor invoices and handle related queries.

Support the production of management packs for property sales and refinancing.

Log insurance claims and liaise with insurers to ensure timely resolutions.

Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.

Who We're Looking For:

Experience in a similar role within block management.

Knowledge of Section 20 consultations and leasehold management processes.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to problem-solve and handle any potential conflicts effectively.

Initiative-driven with a proactive and hands-on approach.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment and contributing ideas.
