We have a range of Supply Teacher positions available, both full-time and part-time, with immediate starts.

The role of a Supply Teacher is to provide temporary teaching cover when regular teachers are unavailable. This could be due to illness, professional development, personal leave, or other reasons. Supply Teachers are responsible for maintaining the continuity of the students' education during the absence of their regular teacher.

As a Supply Teacher you will be required to:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Managing the classroom effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Providing instruction, support, and guidance to students in various subjects and grade levels.
  • Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback on their work.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to ensure continuity in students' learning.
  • Following school policies and procedures, including attendance and behaviour management.
  • Communicating with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Being flexible and adaptable to different school environments and teaching assignments

The ideal candidate for a Supply Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Recent teaching experience in UK schools is preferred, but not essential
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)
