I am looking to speak to knowledgeable graduates who are looking to work with primary-aged children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The school I am currently working with is a mainstream primary school with a high level of SEMH and EBD. This school has a provision for children with SEMH, who have either been excluded from mainstream education or they need more support than a mainstream classroom can offer them. With their main focus being reintegration into mainstream education, and supporting the children, this bustling and dedicated staff body is looking to add a Behaviour Support Assistant to their ever-growing staff.

Behaviour Support Assistant | What do you need?

A First-Class Degree from a TOP-20 UK University.
A Behaviour Support Assistant must be someone who's eager to learn and apply themselves fully and willing to hit the ground running
A desire to work in education in the future could be beneficial for a Behaviour Support Assistant
A Behaviour Support Assistant must be a strong, determined and dedicated individual, who is aware of how working as a Behaviour Support Assistant will have its tougher days... but be the most rewarding job.
Experience with SEND children / Experience with Behavioural Difficulties would be extremely beneficial

Behaviour Support Assistant | About the role:

A Behaviour Support Assistant can earn up to £106 a day | Paid weekly via PAYE | Inclusive of Holiday Pay
The school is looking to help a Master's or Doctorate hopeful get a year's worth of experience in a SEND school to help them with their future careers.
The school is regarded highly in its field, and rated 'Good' by OFSTED.
We are offering a long-term contract, until the end of the academic year.
You will be placed with small group, allowing you to build relationships with the students, and work more closely with them.
This is a rare opportunity which will be an extremely rewarding and motivating experience for you. When applying for further education, having this experience is more than desirable on a CV.
A Behaviour Support Assistant will work with children inside the classroom on classwork and interventions, and outside of the classroom on strategies and more.
