Behaviour Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Apply effective behaviour management techniques to encourage positive student behaviour and outcomes.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and safe environment.
- Build meaningful connections with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Has experience working with teenagers who may present challenging behaviour.
- Is resilient, adaptable, and approaches each student’s needs with patience and understanding.
- Can remain composed and positive in difficult situations, serving as a role model for students.
- Is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to their overall well-being.
