Are you a compassionate Children's Hospice Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of seriously unwell children and their families? Our client, a leading children's hospice in Barnet, North London, is seeking dedicated Band 5 nurses to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary up to 41,360 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also receive a generous 5,000 joining bonus spread over three years, with 500 paid on appointment.

Our client is a renowned children's hospice that has been rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission. They provide specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people, catering to their clinical, emotional, social, and practical needs. Their dedicated team supports families across North and Central London and Herts Valley, offering care in various settings, including homes, communities, and their hospice in Barnet.

As a Children's Hospice Nurse, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, effective patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings.
  • Planning and reviewing care in collaboration with families to ensure safety.
  • Acting as an advocate for children and their families.
  • Ensuring fun and compassion are integral to the care provided.
  • Following safeguarding policies to maintain safety and confidentiality.
  • Promoting effective communication and maintaining professional documentation.
  • Administering medications and maintaining nutritional status.
  • Participating in governance activities and delivering training.
