Long Term Futures is excited to partner with a fantastic SEN school in Barnet, EN5, in their search for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team in January. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
  • Implement and monitor individual behaviour plans in collaboration with the SENCO and teachers.
  • Foster a positive and structured learning environment that encourages engagement and growth.
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to support each student's progress.
  • Encourage the development of emotional regulation and positive social interactions.
  • Supervise students during unstructured times, such as lunch and breaks, to promote well-being and inclusion.
About You:
  • Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour, ideally in an SEN setting.
  • Confidence in implementing behaviour strategies and using de-escalation techniques.
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
