Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at our SEN Behaviour School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English, along with experience working with students who have been excluded from mainstream schools. This role requires an individual who is both innovative and resilient, capable of engaging students with behavioural challenges and helping them build the skills and confidence needed for reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons tailored to students with SEN and behavioural challenges.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to address each student's specific needs and goals.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and targeted support.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create a holistic support network for each student.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and personal growth.

**Qualities and Qualifications:**

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in teaching English
- Proven experience working with children with SEN and behavioural challenges
- Innovative, creative, and resilient approach to teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- DBS on the update service or willingness to acquire one
- Commitment to continuous professional development
