Are you a SEN Teacher looking for a new role in Barnet?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a SEN primary school in Barnet as a key stage 2 Teacher. This is a full time, long-term role from October 2024 and could lead to a permanent contract.

The School:

The SEN School in Barnet supports primary and secondary aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Class sizes are therefore smaller housing between 8-12 pupils per class and there is a high staff-to-pupil ratio so that children are given the correct support when needed across the school.

As a SEN teacher you will be responsible for the below:

  • Planning and delivering lessons for pupils with ASD and multiple learning difficulties
  • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
  • Support behaviour by following the children's plans
  • Updating and setting targets for children.
  • Working alongside other professionals in the support network

To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:

  • QTS or extensive experience as an instructor
  • Previous experience working within SEMH or SEN
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
