This role is working within achildrens hospice in North London, offering specialist care and support for babies, children, and young people with serious health conditions. As a Senior Paediatric Nurse, you will:
- Providedirect line management support to Band 5 Nurses, alongside Band 3 and 4 carers
- Supervise and mentor team members
- Plan and review care with parents, children, and young people to ensure safety
- Ensure fun, sensitivity, compassion, and confidentiality in all care provided
- Administer medications according to policies and procedures
- Maintain nutritional status and clinical skills necessary for holistic care

The ideal Senior Paediatric Nurse will have:
- RSCN registration with the NMC
- Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 6 level or above
- Excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills
- Experience in palliative care or nursing children with life-limiting conditions
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
