Teacher of Food Tech
A modern, incredibly well-resourced Barnet Secondary School with a recent 'Outstanding' Ofsted inspection are on the hunt for a Teacher of Food Tech for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Teacher of Food Tech who is keen to add value to an expanding Design Technology (DT) Department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.
The Head of DT is searching for a Food Technology Teacher who can either teach 100% Food Technology or a minimum of 50% Food Technology as well as another DT Subject.
If you are an Experienced Food Technology Teacher searching for additional responsibilities, the Head of School is happy to offer a Pastoral Responsibility as Head of Year or Deputy Head of Year.
Early Career Teachers Teachers will be enrolled onto the Schools bespoke ECT induction, benefitting from a DT Teacher Mentor, a central ECT Mentor and being part of the school's ECT support group (typically 6-10 ECTs per year)

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Design Technology Teachers
- Must be willing to listen to feedback
