Job Title: Repairs Supervisor (Office based role)

Rate: £38,000 - £43,000 plus Van

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced office based Repairs Supervisor to join our clients team on a permanent basis. As a Repairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance and repair work. This is a crucial role in ensuring that our properties are prepared and maintained to the highest standards for tenants.
Responsibilities of a Voids Supervisor :
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks
- Coordinate and schedule work assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess repair needs and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor and manage the budget for repairs maintenance, ensuring cost-effective practices
- Liaise with property management and leasing teams to prioritise and schedule repairs based on occupancy needs
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, ensuring their skills are developed and maintained
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, invoices, and reports
Desirable Experience of a Voids Supervisor:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supervising
- Trade Background essential
- Previous experience of working in an office based similar role
- Strong knowledge of social housing regulations, property management, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in managing contractors and maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant qualifications in housing, property management, or a related field are desirable.
