Description
As the Electrical Shift Technician you'll be tasked with the following:
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial electrical equipment
- Install and replace electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical systems
- Comply with all safety procedures and requirements, maintaining a safe work environment
- Support the Engineering & Manufacturing department in achieving operational targets
- Prepare and submit reports detailing all test, repair, and maintenance activities
- Train and supervise other electricians, improving overall team performance
- Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Profile
A successful Electrical Shift Technician should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety measures
- Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and mentor team members
