Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced ICT Teacher who is passionate about educating and empowering students to excel in ICT and computer science. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a supportive faculty and contribute to the academic and personal development of our diverse student body.
Responsibilities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Foster a dynamic learning environment that promotes active participation and independent thinking.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the ICT department.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
Requirements:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Specialisation in ICT, computer science, or related field.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Proven experience teaching ICT at the secondary school level.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student success.
